Active Substance: diclofenac potassium (Phenylacetic acid derivative). Pharmaceutical form and quantity of active substance per unit: One ﬁlm coated tablet contains 50 mg of diclofenac potassium.
Short term treatment (maximum 2 weeks) of the following acute conditions:
Painful post-traumatic inﬂammatory states, e.g. due to sprains. Postoperative inﬂammation and pain, e.g. following dental or orthopedic surgery.
Painful and/or inﬂammatory conditions in gynaecology e.g. primary dysmenorrhea or adnexitis. Painful syndromes of the vertebral column. Non-articular rheumatism. As an adjuvant in acute painful inﬂammatory infections of the ear, nose, or throat, e.g. pharyngotonsillitis, otitis. In keeping with general therapeutic principles, the underlying disease should be treated with basis therapy, as appropriate. Fever alone is not an indication.
